Background

Alibaba Group Holding Limited is a Chinesemultinational e-commerce conglomerate  thatprovides  business-to-business sales servicesvia web portals. The Zhangbei Data Center, which covers about 32.95 acres, will cost around 6 billion CNY and host more than 100,000 servers. It is the second could data center of Alibaba and will 100% renewable energy. The data center building is covered by solar panels, the green energy can be switched to the computing resources by using the free air cooling and natural water cooling.

Challenges and goals

◆  Need to support input load up to 63A and high density outlets up to 28 ports；

◆  PDU required to withstand the high temperature in the Hot-Aisle container system;
