Background

The National Computer Network Security Center is part of the National Security Agency (NSA), which evaluates the security of computers used in high security territory to ensure that devices use trusted computer systems and components when handling confidential or other sensitive materials.        It provides technical support for safeguarding national cyberspace security; provides technical support for preventing cybercrime and maintaining network security; improves the ability to supervise important information systems; and promotes the development of anti-virus industry.
